Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Cook And Nurture, I take great pride in selecting the freshest ingredients and dedicated time to prepare your personalised menu. Because my service involves custom grocery shopping and advance preparation, the following policy applies to all bookings:

1. Booking & Deposits
  • Confirmation: A $200 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date and allow me to purchase groceries on your behalf.

  • Service Fee: A $50 Grocery Shopping Service Fee is included with your deposit to cover the time spent sourcing and selecting your fresh produce.

  • Full Payment: For the trial or initial services, payment is made in full upon booking. For ongoing services, the final balance is settled immediately upon completion of your meal service.

2. Cancellations (More than 72 Hours Notice)

I understand that plans can change. If you provide more than 72 hours’ notice before your scheduled start time:

 

  • You are entitled to a full refund of all monies paid, including your deposit and shopping fee.​

3. Cancellations (Less than 72 Hours Notice)

Once we are within the 72-hour window, I have already begun the process of sourcing ingredients and planning your service. Therefore, cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice are non-refundable.

In this event, you may choose one of the following two options:

  • Option A: Reschedule. You may move your service to a later date. A $35 rescheduling fee will apply to cover administrative and logistical changes.

  • Option B: Forfeit. You may choose to cancel the service entirely, in which case the deposit and any funds already spent on groceries will be forfeited to cover costs incurred.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

I care deeply about my clients. If a cancellation is due to a sudden medical emergency or hospital admission, please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss your situation personally.
